Is the busy, festive party and socialising season affecting your sleep and downtime routine?

Have you noticed that you're not sleeping as well and you're often feeling tired and not on form at work or with the family during the day?

3 simple ways to have fun and feel rested and relaxed

1. Be careful with your diary management at this time of year, you don't have to commit to everything. Is there a time of day that you prefer to socialise, perhaps a morning walk and coffee rather than late night drinks?

2. Try and integrate some downtime within your day rather than just at night time. Pauses for rest are extremely effective for our mental health, life expectancy, sleep and overall feelings of happiness. Start small by slotting in 15 minutes of rest into your day this can be as simple as watching TV, a good walk, coffee and a sit down.
3. Invite Aromatherapy into your rest routines to reduce stress and help you switch off and relax. The scents used in Aromatherapy are sourced from aromatic plants, herbs, trees, flowers and fruits. These extracts (Essential Oils) are blended together to promote mental healing. During inhalation, the molecules from the Aromatherapy blend effect your brain, releasing hormones and affecting our mindset. Lavender has been scientifically proven to support positive sleep. Orange Essential Oil boosts our mood and Clary Sage promotes feelings of wellbeing we recommend The Peace and The Quiet Purest Blends when you're looking to soothe stress and melt away anxious thoughts.
